Orissa Minerals Development Company Limited (OMDC) has released the OMDC Recruitment Notification 2025, inviting applications from eligible candidates for Mining, Geology, Surveyor, and Quality Control Professionals.
OMDC Recruitment 2025 – Overview
OMDC is looking for professionals in the following fields:
Mining Professional
Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering with a 1st Class Mines Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Restricted) under MMR 1961.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a CPSE or reputed organization, with field experience in Iron Ore & Manganese Mines.
Remuneration: ₹2,000 per day of attendance.
Geologist & Surveyor
Qualifications: M.Sc in Geology or Diploma in Surveying with a Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a CPSE or reputed organization, with field experience in Iron Ore & Manganese Mines.
Remuneration: ₹2,000 per day of attendance.
Quality Control Professional
Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc in Chemistry. A PG degree in the respective discipline is desirable.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a CPSE or reputed organization, with experience in testing, sampling, and grade analysis of Iron Ore & Manganese Ore Mines.
Remuneration: ₹2,000 per day of attendance.

Tenure and Engagement
The initial engagement period is 1 year, extendable by another year based on performance. The engagement can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
