SPCB Sikkim recruitment 2025 Junior Scientific Assistant, Field Assistant - 79 Posts

Vacancy Details:

Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA): 17 positions

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science (Environmental Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Botany, or Zoology)

Consolidated Pay: ₹26,000 per month

Field Assistant (FA): 62 positions

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university

Consolidated Pay: ₹22,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 40 years old as of the interview date.

Residency Requirement: Applicants must possess a Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim.

Employment Status: Candidates should have a valid local employment card or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) if currently employed.

Application Procedure:

Application Form: Obtain the prescribed application form from the SPCB-Sikkim office or download it from the official website.

Application Fee: Submit a Demand Draft of ₹200 in favor of the Member Secretary, SPCB-Sikkim, payable at Deorali.

Submission: Send the completed application form along with self-attested copies of testimonials in a sealed envelope, superscribed with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF JSA or FA," to:

Deadline: Applications must reach the above address by 3:00 PM on March 22, 2025.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview conducted by the Interview Committee. The decision of the committee will be final and binding. The interview dates will be announced later through personal email, telephone, and/or notices on the SPCB's website.

➡The positions are purely temporary for a period of one year and may be renewed annually based on performance.

➡No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

➡Selected candidates must report within one week of appointment.

➡Candidates with adverse reports regarding character and antecedents or those terminated on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply.

➡A fitness certificate is required at the time of appointment.
