Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • General: 18 – 40 years
  • OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
  • SC/ST(P)/ST(H): Up to 45 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Up to 42 years
  • PwD: Up to 50 years
  • Age Relaxation: As per government rules

Educational Qualification

  • Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Qualified Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary level.
  • Language proficiency: Either Language-I or Language-II in ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school where the candidate is applying.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on merit and reservation criteria. The weightage for selection is:
Criteria Marks Weightage
Higher Secondary (50% min) 5% of marks secured
D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed 5% of marks secured
Assam TET / CTET 85% of marks secured
Extra Marks 5 marks for NCC 'C'/'B' Certificate, National-level sports, or Fine Arts achievements
